Kwa Nini / Purpose
At Manta, we do our best to create a safe, comfortable, and memorable stay. Some risks, however, are part of life and nature, and cannot be fully controlled. This form ensures that guests understand those risks and accept responsibility for their own safety and belongings.
Acknowledgement of Risk
I, the undersigned, understand and agree that:
- My stay and activities at Manta may involve risks of injury, accident, or illness.
- Risks may arise during activities organised by Manta such as swimming, snorkelling, boat trips, forest walks, transfers, and similar.
- Risks also include unexpected incidents at the lodge itself, such as falls, illness, animal encounters, or loss/theft of personal belongings.
- Manta Resort takes reasonable care to reduce risks but cannot guarantee complete safety.
Release of Liability
By signing this form, I agree to:
Release The Manta Resort, its owners, management, staff, and partners from any claims, demands, or liability for injury, illness, accident, loss, damage, or theft occurring during my stay.
Accept responsibility for my personal safety, choices, and belongings during my stay. Indemnify The Manta Resort from any legal costs or claims arising out of my actions.
Health & Safety
I confirm that:
I am in suitable health to take part in activities of my choice.
I will share relevant medical conditions or allergies with Manta staff where needed. I will follow all safety instructions and guidelines provided by Manta staff.
General Term
This waiver applies for the full duration of my stay at Manta
It covers all activities organised or facilitated by Manta Resort, excluding scuba diving (covered by a separate indemnity)
It also applies to any accidents, injuries, or theft occurring on the property
This waiver is binding on me, my heirs, legal representatives, and assigns.
